Third run FIA Pro Mod Champion Ship

After our TFX engine block broke at the Main Event we wasn´t able to travel to Finland for the 2. FIA Champion Ship round. We needed some time to fix this very bad broken TFX, so we decided to concentrate for the Veidec Festival at Mantorp Park.

On our first qualifier we went  6,69, what was to date our best ever run in this very tough class. After two not so successful runs we was out of the top 16 for the last qualifying round Saturday night.

We then managed to run a amazing 6,36 / 365 Km/h in our only  second race into this fast and ultra professional Pro Mod class. With this we ended up as 14th qualifier in the quickest ever FIA Pro Mod field with a bump spot set at 6.40 sec. Bad thing was that the Parachute's failed and I ended up into the gravel trap with high speed and we got some bad  damage on the frond end of the car from that. After a brief discussion we decided not to repair the car for Sunday. No matter, we will have everything ready in time to went to our "Home race" at Hockenheim.
