Alastaro, Finland, Nitro Nationals July 2nd – 4th

The longest trip we made so far to go Racing! We took a 30 hours ferry from Rostock to Helsinki were we got plenty of time relaxing.

After fighting with oil pressure problems at the Main Event, we did some changes to the oil system with the same result after warming up the car on Thursday at Alastaro pits. We lost pressure after 1 minute. At the end we took out the filter element and the pressure was back. So we decided to run the car without the element all over the weekend. There were still some gremlins in the car so our quickest run was a 6.4 what was good for qualification place 10. But it´s not the ET´s we are looking for! At the end we were out first round with a slow 6.6 against Urban Johansson. We found a problem in the ignition sytem that seems to take so much power from us. We asked for some test runs after the event and got the option do make one later on Sunday after the finals. For some reason we got no time for that run but it really felt better than the numbers before.
